Everyone wants to live life large, but limited income and higher taxes seldom let this wish come true for many individuals. But, nothing is impossible and thus, an individual on a tight budget too has some room to live his life as desired. However, the process involves three steps, which is allocating money for things that matter the most, discarding unwanted expenses and balancing the spending between necessities and luxury. These processes are explained hereunder.
Differentiate between must ones and not must ones: It is to be deciphered as, what is more, important and what is not, which is different for every individual. So, if building a beautiful home is a priority then getting a car may be not. If dining out at an expensive restaurant is a priority then may be a bigger TV at home may not be a requisite. Make adjustments in the order things occupy a priority in one’s life. These must-ones should not be dependent on what others feel but what a person as an individual feel.
A little but not full compromise: Look for avenues of saving some part of money from existing payments. For example, one may choose not to keep a landline and may prefer to select a cell phone, this plan might save money. Also, wise decisions about buying clothes, electronics and other items should spare money for other pursuits.
Hole in your pocket: The choice of keeping a set of debit or credit cards could be a serious drain on your budget. Choose for those banks and cards that have least of charges and more benefits comparatively. Transacting from different bank’s ATM could incur a charge after a certain limit. A little delay in paying credit card dues could lead to penalty charges. Hence, look and balance these components of your financial life that will eventually mean more money at the end of the day.
The Power Of Bargaining - Once funds are collected for priority things then it depends on one’s bargaining power to take things at attractive prices. Clothes, shoes, accessories and other items could either be ordered during holiday sales or through bargaining power during off season. A lavish dinner at a five-star could come discounted around festival themes or so.
